Sal's Pizzeria on Court Street was temporarily turned into a fictional eatery named Salduccis', complete with food truck, for the filming of an episode of 'Blue Bloods' today. The CBS series, features Tom Selleck as Police Commissioner Frank Reagan, the patriarch of an Irish-American family of police officers with the NYC Police Department.No sign of Selleck, but someone pointed out Will Estes, who plays Jamie, the youngest son.
Sal's Pizzeria and its sister restaurant Mama Mia have seen quite a bit of filming action of late. Just recently, Chef Ramsey filmed an episode of his Kitchen Nightmares at Mama Mia.
