It is important to note that the next high tide will hit at 8 PM tonight and Hurricane Sandy is still over 200 miles offshore. The storm is also supposed to hit this area during a full moon.
And here are some more taken at noon today by Marlene Donnelly of Friends And Residents Of Greater Gowanus.
She said she ran into a policeman from the 76th Precinct who said that the water is expected to cross
Bond Street later tonight.
